Always & Forever

Hi friends,

Today I want to share with you a LO that I have made for Color Stories Inspriration or CSI (http://csicolorstoriesinspiration.ning.com). This is the first time I have created for any scrapbooking blogs and m very excited about it. :))

The layout is for CSI Case# 148

And this is what I created....

I have used Graphic 45 "Baby to bride collection" for this LO. I just loved the colors and the graphics of this collection. Also, this picture was take just after my marriage....so the collection was just apt for the photo I wished to use. :))..

The colors of this collect match with the colors described for this particular case.

Some close up of the LO

The base is of 'unchained melody' and have fussy cut the outer frame from another paper of the same collection called 'sentimental baby'. I have distressed the edges of the frame and popped it up with foam tape.

I also did a bit of stencilling in the background but eventually it all got covered..... ;)

Hope you enjoyed the LO.......Thanks for visiting my blog!!

Have a great day!

Altered glass bottle

Good Morning Craft lovers!!

Today I want to share an altered art project that I created some time back.

Here I have used a glass bottle for my project.
It is pretty simple but was great fun making it.

In this project, I covered the bottle first with gesso and then with pink acrylic paint. I painted it pink coz that's my favorite color ;) :))).

Also I did not paint the bottle evenly as I wanted to give it a big of vintage look and for that I did made a few uneven splashes with gesso too....

I did little bit of fuzzy cutting to decorate the bottle. The paper is from "Botanical tea collection" of Graphic 45.

Graphic 45 papers are just absolutely amazing......they have lot of graphics to play with!! Which really love. I enjoy fuzzy cutting a lot too..

On the bottle, it says "a cup of tea warms the soul like a good friend". Its from the same paper line...I really liked that sentiment.

I enjoyed this little project. Hope you guys enjoyed it too....

Do leave a comment for me.....they brighten my day! :)))) xo

Altered Mini Drawer

Hi Friends!

Here am again....today I want to share with you a mini drawer that I altered.

First, on the outside, I painted the edges and corners with metallic copper acrylic paint.

On the insides I have painted it first with white gesso and then with pearl white acrylic paint. Also, each drawer is lined by brown felt.

Paper used is "Shabby Flowers" from Fabscraps.

Later, covered the paper with mod podge to make it resistant to dust.

Finally, decorated the top of the mini drawer with some embellishments...

Hope you have enjoyed!!

Have a good day.....Cheers!!

Textured brick wall

Hi there!
I am here again to share another layout that I created on 12X12 sheet.
The layout is made on lovely Prima - Time travelers memories collection - Falling roses.

Here I have tried some thing new (which is new for me...........as I am a total beginner).....I have used textured paste and stencil to create brick wall and to give it old look, colored it with ink pads matching with the colors of the roses in the background.
The inspiration of this came from Kelly Foster's youtube channel with video named "Rock Wall" Mixed Media Background Tutorial and the link to the same is  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9uGNj38-5A&list=UUTZU8IGzmTHQMrK43LBsOQg

The black flower is made from lace....

I know, there are a lot of talented ladies out there, who are a constant source of inspiration for me.... I would like to thank them all for putting such amazing tutorials for beginners. They have made the process of learning much easy and more interesting at the same time. Thank you all!!

Also, thanks for visiting my blog...do leave a comment for me.... :)

Have a great day!!
